ABOUT TEMSA

Temsa, one of Turkey's leading automotive companies, manufactures and distributes Temsa brand buses and coaches in domestic and international markets. At the same time, the Company represents Mitsubishi and Komatsu as their distributor in Turkey. Temsa first started production activities in 1987 in Adana and launched its own Temsa brand in 2001.

The production capacity of Temsa Adana plant is 3,250 buses and coaches per year and 7,500 light trucks, which is annually 10,750 vehicles in total. Apart from its own brand in the bus and coach industry, Temsa also represents many well-known international brands such as Mitsubishi and Komatsu as their distributor in Turkey and certain assigned territories.

Temsa Adana facility has a total area of 555,000 m2 in which Safir intercity coaches,  Prestij midi-coaches and Avenue citybus, developed specifically for public transportation are manufactured. Furthermore; TS35 for America and Tourmalin and Safari for Europe ara produced. Temsa also entered into European market with a brand new segment, Midi Coach segment, with MD9.  MD9, which is designed by Temsa R&D team and produced in Adana facilities,  landed a prize of "Grand Award Midi Coach Of The Year" in Kortrijk, Belgium.

Temsa buses and coaches, designed and manufactured by its own know-how, are also sold to some leading markets in the world besides domestic market. Only in France, a fleet of 3,000 Temsa brand buses are on the roads. Germany, Italy and Belgium are also focus markets in Europe and recently the United States is emerging as an important new market for Temsa.

As being the distributor for Komatsu Construction Machinery for 28 years, Temsa offers construction equipment and forklifts to many sectors in Turkish industry. Bucket production was re-launched in 2008, and it's been attracting much interest in the construction machinery sector based on the high-quality functional structure of this product. With the purpose of becoming a regional player,  Temsa Komatsu Construction Machine Business Unit established distributorships in Azerbaijan and Georgia and continues initiatives with new contacts established in other regions.

With a sales network of 40 authorized dealers under a distributorship agreement with Mitsubishi, Temsa conducts the sales, services and spare parts operations for Mitsubishi passenger cars; Lancer, Evo, Colt, 4x4 vehicles; Pajero and Outlander, ASX in cross over segment, L200 in pick-up and Fuso Canter in light truck segments.

The total consolidated revenue of Temsa is US$ 750 million in 2011.
