TEMSA unveils Avenue Neo, its new electric  city bus at Busworld 2025, highlighting its motto “Designed to Lead Your Journey”

Brussels, October 4th2025 – TEMSA introduced its latest electric city bus, the Avenue Neo, at Busworld 2025 in Brussels. As the company’s new 9-meter electric bus, Avenue Neo combines high passenger capacity, long range, and operational flexibility to address the growing needs of European cities and suburban mobility. Building on the proven architecture of the MD9 Electricity, operated for more than 5 million kilometers in diverse climates from Northern Europe to Southern Mediterranean, Avenue Neo transfers TEMSA’s extensive know-how into a compact, modern platform.

The Avenue Neo is powered by a TM4 265 kW electric motor, supported by a battery system of up to 384 kWh with liquid cooling thermal management. Depending on configuration, the model can carry up to 75 passengers and offers a range of up to 600 kilometers with a high-capacity battery option. The vehicle can be fully charged in 75 minutes using a 300 kW DC connection with an inverted pantograph option also being available. The Avenue Neo is equipped with a 20 kW electric preheater and a 33 kW air conditioning system, ensuring passenger comfort in all seasons.

Güzel also highlighted TEMSA’s global reach and extensive know-how: “With over 140,000 vehicles produced and a presence in 70 countries, TEMSA is one of the few manufacturers offering one of the broadest zero-emission portfolios in the industry. The New Prestij: Legend Reborn for Europe

The New Prestij also made its European market debut at Busworld 2025. Since its first launch in 1992, over 20,000 Prestij vehicles have served customers across multiple continents, becoming a backbone of tourism, school transport, corporate fleets, and regional connectivity. Known for its versatility and reliability, the model has built a strong heritage over three decades. The latest version brings this legacy into a new era with bold styling, a premium LED lights, and a modern digital driver interface available in 29 languages. Safety and comfort have been significantly enhanced with ABA6 (Active Brake Assist 6), dual blind spot detection compliant with GSR regulations, and an optional AMT gearbox for smooth, stress-free journeys. An optional lift system supports inclusive mobility. Electric operated doors enhance functionality, while a dual alternator ensures improved power reliability.

The New Prestij is offered with a two-year vehicle warranty and a three-year unlimited mileage powertrain warranty, underscoring TEMSA’s commitment to customer trust and long-term value. With the start of its European sales at Busworld 2025, TEMSA defines the New Prestij as “Legend Reborn”—a proven icon redesigned for the expectations of today’s operators and passengers.

TEMSA showcases its full mobility universe

The company’s stand at Busworld 2025 was designed as a reflection of its wide product range. Visitors experienced the TEMSA Universe, where electrification, heritage, and innovation came together in a single showcase.

Alongside Avenue Neo and the New Prestij, the booth also featured two of TEMSA’s most recognized models with significant updates. The LD SB, TEMSA’s most popular model in Europe, is presented with a refreshed exterior design, streamlined GSR system, available in three versions including two diesel driveline alternatives and a fully electric version with battery capacities ranging from 280 to 350 kWh.

The Maraton, TEMSA’s flagship coach with over 800 million kilometers of proven performance, is also highlighted with customer-driven upgrades. These enhancements focus on an elevated travel experience with camera mirror, courtesy and manuevering lighting, renewed digital driver interface, functional smart steering wheel, and advanced safety systems. From 2026, the model will also feature an upgraded DAF MX-11 engine and ZF Traxon transmission, offering greater torque, smoother shifting, and up to 3% improved fuel economy.

In addition, TEMSA showcased its latest modular battery packs with multiple chemistries, underscoring the company’s engineering strength in electrification and its ability to tailor solutions for different mobility markets.

Through this showcase, participants gained deeper insight into the company’s future vision and comprehensive portfolio, spanning city buses, intercity transport, coaches, and next-generation mobility solutions.

With these milestones—the global debut of Avenue Neo and the European sales start of the New Prestij—TEMSA reinforces its presence in the European market and continues its strategy of providing sustainable, flexible, and customer-oriented mobility solutions.
