What is eQuad?

eQuad is an e-assist cycle with a 4-wheel configuration which makes it similar to a cargo bike. It was developedby Fernhay, founded in 2013 to reduce carbon emissions and traffic congestion in cities. Top Assisted Speed of 15.5mph (25 kmph) and Operating Range of up to 60km (37 miles).

Cycle Van

Using cargo- bikes for parcel deliveries, results in significant efficiency in asset utilization compared to package cars (vans) based on delivery efficiency (used volume / payload space volume). These also decrease the congestion of trucks in urban traffic and loading activities in dense city or district zones.

High Cargo Capacity

eQuad is equipped with secure and designated compartments to store and carry safely materials up to 200 kg, 2 m3. The cubes can be used with full capacity with no space left once fully loaded

No Driver Licence Needed

eQuad is defined legally as e-bike, it doesn’t require a driver’s license. Anyone at 15 or older age can use eQuad without additional legal obligation.

Cargo-bikes are smaller and nimbler, making it agile for the operator to park and unload deliveries compared to package cars. They reduce the TCO in its all aspects therefore provides operational efficiency.
